LAKELAND -- Late heroics from midfielder Julian Hall -- and some big saves from netminder Ryan Shellow -- lifted the Lakeland Tropics to a 1-1 draw in their USL League Two season finale against Florida Elite Saturday night at Bryant Stadium.

Hall let fly from about 25 yards out and found the back of the net in the 89th minute for the equalizer, after the two sides played to a scoreless tie over the first 45 minutes.

Showing his strong one v. one skills, Hall had three goals in the Tropics final two games which left the team with a final mark of 4-7-3. Florida Elite fell to 7-4-3.

Shellow, starting goalkeep for Cornell University, have five saves in the first half alone, including a great stop of a header from about eight yards out.

The Tropics completed their third season of USL League Two play Saturday.
