JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Lakeland Tropics had one of their better offensive showings of the season Tuesday night, but still found themselves on the short side of a 4-2 scoreline against Florida Elite SA in a USL League Two matchup.

Lakeland got a first half goal from Raheem Taylor-Parkes, and a second half goal from Mark Murphy, but it was not enough in falling for the second-straight game.

The Tropics fall to 1-2-2 on the season, while Florida Elite improved to 3-1-0.

Lakeland will be home for another Soccer Saturday this weekend at historic Bryant Stadium against the Treasure Coast Tritons, who are tied with Florida Elite atop the USL League 2 southern division table. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed live at
